Newington

 

So, the Coyote has returned to Newington for a second year and Mary and I are thrilled to be back. We have learned so much this year, and we feel as though the lessons have just begun! We have dined on the delicious Autumn-Olive and drank our fill of Sumac and Black Birch tea. The kids are in the process of building a new style of shelter, known as a 'lean-to'. As winter rolls in, we will be learning how plants and animals deal with the harsh weather and we will help the birds a bit by making pine cone bird feeders. With so much more to learn throughout the year, we look forward to the coming months with wild excitement! Stay tuned for new pictures in the next few weeks!
