So, we are so happy to be back in Exeter for a year-round program. Mary and I are amazed at the enthusiasm and knowledge our Exeter kids bring each week, and the forest along Gilman Park has infinite lessons to offer. We have built shelters from the branches of the hemlock, drank black birch tea and told countless stories of wildlife encounters. As winter rolls in, we will be focusing on how plants and animals survive the winter months and we will help the birds a bit, by making pine cone bird feeders. Winter has countless lessons to explore, and we look forward to diving in piles of snow, tracking the active winter critters and building snow shelters. Stay tuned for a new pictures coming in the next few weeks!
